Juanita 'Sam' Carroll

Graveside services for Juanita "Sam" Carroll, 63, of Onalaska are scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday at Athens City Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home in Athens.

Mrs. Carroll died Feb. 24, 2001, in Lufkin.

She was born May 12, 1937, in Akron, Ohio, to Clyde and Marie Parker. She had been a resident of Onalaska for eight years, where she was a member of Pine Ridge Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, W.D. Carroll of Onalaska; sons, William Sheaffer, Robert Sheaffer and Jerry Sheaffer, all of Akron, Ohio; daughters, Barbara Combs of Hurst, and Catherine Sheaffer of Rockport; stepsons, Gary Carroll of Irving, Mike Carroll of Little Elm, Rick Carroll of Everman; brother, Ronald Parker of Allen; mother-in-law, Jewell Carroll of Livingston; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
