James E. Warren Graveside services for James E. Warren, 69, of Athens are scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday at Athens Cemetery under the direction of Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home of Athens. Mr. Warren died June 20, 2002, in Athens. He was born in Collinsville, Miss., to Allen and Margaret Spence Warren. Mr. Warren was preceded in death by one sister and three brothers. He was a resident of Athens for the past year and a former resident of Dallas, where he owned and operated Warren heating and Air Conditioning Company. He retired in 1987. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and served during the Korean War. He was an avid fisherman. Survivors include his wife, Mary Crosskno-Warren of Athens; daughters, Edwina Voth of Lone Oak, Maurena Spradley of Palestine, Sherri Martin of Rowlett, Patricia Crodova of Mesquite and Mellisa Williams of Dallas; sister, Jean Kinard of Meredian, Miss.; brothers, Dwayne Warren of Mesquite and Charles Warren; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends from 8:30-11:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
