Arnold Vance
Graveside services for Arnold (Arkie) Clay Vance, 70 of Key Ranch Estates, were May 7th at 2 p.m. at Mankin Cemetery near Trinidad under the direction of Tomlinson Funeral Home in Seven Points. 
Mr. Vance, a longtime resident of Trinidad, passed away May 5th at his residence after a lengthy battle with cancer. He retired as an auto parts salesman, then opened a lawnmower repair business and retired in 2001. Mr. Vance also served with the US Army in Germany from 1953 to 1955. He was a lifetime member of the Trinidad VFW. He was preceded in death by his father Kelly, mother Mary Mae, sister Margaret and brother Darrell.
Survivors include his longtime companion and friend, Patricia Bishop of Trinidad; son, Terry Vance; daughter, Marsha Patterson; granddaughter, Maryls Tramel; grandson, Jeremy; two great grandsons, Christopher and Jared and sisters, Janice Thompson, Ima Wright, Naomi Lane and Joanne Vance.
