Joan B. Zeiger Services for Joan B. Zeiger, 78, of Trinidad are scheduled for 3 p.m. Tuesday at Cedar Creek Lake United Methodist Church in Tool with the Rev. Michael Caldwell officiating. Burial will follow at Mankin Cemetery in Henderson County under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home of Mabank. Mrs. Zeiger died Feb. 20, 1999, in Trinidad following a long illness. She was born Aug. 11, 1920, in Chanute, Kan., to John Alexander and Lotus Burlingame Brower. She had been a resident of Trinidad for the past 25 years and was a very active member of Cedar Creek United Methodist Church, Meals on Wheels, and Cedar Creek Lake Amateur Rodeo Club. Mrs. Zeiger is survived by her husband of 56 years, Carroll Duane Zeiger of Trinidad; her son, Terry Lee Zeiger of Cannon Falls, Minn.; two daughters, Nancy Carol Shelby of Lake Arrowhead, Calif., and Gail Anne Meyers of Trinidad; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and other family members and a host of friends. Pallbearers will include Lawell Pahl, Mel Christensen, James Green, Ron Kincey, Hal Hanson, and A.J. Phillips. Honorary Pallbearers will include, Ray Hemmington, Gene Atkins, O.L.Dove.
