Lillian Gene Burnette
Services for Lillian Gene Burnette, 70, of Trinidad are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Tomlinson Funeral Home Chapel in Malakoff with the Rev. Elizabeth Bear officiating.
Burial will follow at Mankin Cemetery under the direction of Tomlinson Funeral Home of Malakoff.
Mrs. Burnette died July 21, 2001, in Athens.
She was born Aug. 27, 1930, in Cherokee, Okla., to Adam and Ada Dewitt Moore.
Mrs. Burnette was a housewife and a Methodist.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and daughter, Sherry May Burnette.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Charlie Thomas Burnette of Trinidad; children and spouses, Tommy Eugene and Loretta Burnette of Ferris, Terry Ray and Donna Burnette of Red Oak and Dawn Marie Knowles of Bedford; sister, Freda Cooper of Shasta Lake, Calif.; brothers, Rochelle Moore of Carmen, Okla., Jim Moore of Palm Desert, Calif., and Delbert Moore of Redondo Beach, Calif.; grandchildren, Nathan Thomas Knowles of Bedford, Taylor Ray Burnette of Red Oak and Savannah Michelle Burnette of Red Oak; and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Terry Burnette, Tommy Burnette, Bill Lonon, Robert Knowles, Casey Sloan and John Webb.
Family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
