Mary 'Sissy' McClendon Moody
Services for Mary "Sissy" McClendon Moody, 63, of Malakoff were held at 10 a.m. Friday at First Assembly of God Church with the Revs. Ken Jones and Gaylord Brown officiating.
Burial followed at Mankin Cemetery under the direction of Tomlinson Funeral Home of Malakoff.
Ms. Moody died March 29, 2000, in Malakoff.
She was born June 7, 1936, in Henderson County to Rufus and Clara King McClendon.
Ms. Moody lived in this area most of her life. She was Assembly of God.
Survivors include her stepmother, Hazel McClendon of Malakoff; brother, Clarence "Jabo" McClendon and Jerry Speake, both of Malakoff; sisters, Ales and Billy Clemmons of Groveton and Billie Ruth Goosetree of Mineral Wells; aunts, Nora "Tiny" Dillard and Velma "Baby" McClendon, both of Trinidad; uncle, Leonard McClendon of Trinidad; several nieces and nephews; and several cousins.
Pallbearers were Kameron Smiley, Bill Belz, Billy Clemmons, Ronny Snow, Rick Vieregge and Rex King.
