Velma Lee McClendon
Services for Velma Lee McClendon, 85, of Trinidad are scheduled for 3 p.m. Sunday at Mankin Assembly of God Church in the Mankin Community with Vernon Walker and Gaylord Brown officiating.
Burial will follow at Mankin Cemetery under the direction of Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home of Corsicana.
Mrs. McClendon died Nov. 3, 2000, in Trinidad.
She was born Sept. 4, 1915, in Navarro County.
Survivors include her husband, Leonard McClendon of Trinidad; daughter and son-in-law, Bobby and Leon Huff of Malakoff; sister, Nora Dillard of Trinidad; grandchildren and spouses, Pam and Bill Belz of Terrell and Kameron and Lisa Smiley of Plano; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers include Bud Dulaney, Clarence McClendon, Rex King, Larry Andrews, Billy Gunnels and Bobby Gene Johnson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Belz and Bryson Smiley.
Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
