Louise 'Granny' Clay

Louise "Granny" Clay, 77, of Tool died May 29, 2002, in Athens. No services are scheduled.

Mrs. Clay was born Aug. 6, 1924, in Corsicana to Susie Belle Knight and Richard Louis Rushing.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and husbands, Berl B. Mullins, Melvin R. Clay Sr. and Jack C. Beason.

Survivors include her children, Russell D. Clay, Berla Mullins Caster, Suzzan Clay Meisenheimer, 
Leba Clay Fleshman and Melvin R. Clay Jr.; sister, Ruby Rushing Truxel; brother, William "Jack" 
Rushing; 25 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and other 
friends and relatives. 

The family will receive friends from 2-5 p.m. Saturday at Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in 
Mabank and at 6 p.m. at Mrs. Clay's home.
