History of the Stone Cemetery

Mary Congleton Stone died 16 March 1903. Her husband Robert Allan Stone was not permitted to bury her in the Goodgame Cemetery because of the nature of her death. She died with Smallpox. She was buried on the family farm which started the Stone Cemetery. Also buried there is a granddaughter of Robert & Mary's. Mary Pashey Stokes daughter of Ira Willie Lee & Lilly Eliza Stone Stokes.

Location of the Cemetery:  Farm road 2494 to Trailridge---County Road 1506. Go to the gate at the end of the Road, there you have to enter private property to get to the cemetery.

   Arthur Stone was born Jan 1902.
    Travis Stone died 16 April 1911
 
Two of the headstones I do not have at this time.

Robert & Mary Stone are my grandparents.
