1911. Half-brothers were Andrew, John, and D.C. (Doc) Edwards. John Sanders 
(Sam) Edwards, father of Abel supposedly buried in Leagueville Cemetery.

2. ADELINE REBECCA THOMAS EDWARDS, born Dec 4, 1858, died Apr 24, 1912. 
Daughter of Jacob Thomas, Jr. and Arminte (Benge) Thomas.

A. Abel Matthew and Adeline Rebecca were married Oct 27, 1882.

Children: Jacob Sylvester Edwards - Oct 27, 1883 - Sep
22, 1970, buried in Athens Cemetery.
Rosie Edwards Ross - Jan 19, 1885 - 1917,
buried in Tishimingo, OK.
Matthew Edwards - May 1, 1886- 1958.
Mary Ellen Edwards Cox - Aug 21, 1889 - Jun
6, 1975, buried in Shelby Chapel Cemetery.
Bush Edwards - Aug 12, 1891 - 1952 buried
in Prairie City, OR.
Ella Victoria Edwards - Apr 12, 1894 - 1904.
Killed by lightning Sep 21, 1904.
Annie Eliza Edwards Mills - Feb 15, 1896 - Apr
22, 1971, buried in Athens Cemetery.
General Washington Edwards - Dec 22, 1898 -
Killed by lightning Sep 21, 1904.

11. MARY THOMAS HALL - Earliest grave in the cemetery. Daughter of Jacob 
Thomas, Jr. and Arminte Benge Thomas. (Daughter of Mary married John 
Ashmore).

12. JACOB THOMAS, SR. - Father of Jacob Thomas, Jr. and
Grandfather of Adeline Rebecca, Eliza (Ninie), Mary, Sarah, and Martha. He 
gave the land for the cemetery.

13. MARTHA THOMAS - Age 17

14. ARMINTE BENGE THOMAS - 18/??/1903

15. SARAH THOMAS FREEMAN -

16. BABY FREEMAN

Jacob Thomas, Jr. buried in Civil War Cemetery at Little Rock, AR. Jacob 
left his wife and his five small children with his father and went off to 
fight in the Civil War. He died during a flu epidemic while in training.
