Mr. Tillison Dies; Rites Wednesday

Charles D. Tillison, 85 died Monday at 7:30 p.m. in a Malakoff
hospital after a lengthy illness.
He was born December 18, 1878 in Woods Schoolhouse community of
Henderson County, and spent his life in this county. He was a
retired farmer.
Mr. Tillison is survived by four sons, Walter and Bob Tillison of
Athens, Johnny Tillison of Tyler, and J. B. Tillison of Lindale;
three daughetrs, Mrs. Mary Everett
and Mrs. Lydia Mae Napp, both of Athens, and Mrs.Ollie Ball of
Murchison; one brother, Jim Tillison of Lawton, Okla., and 15
grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Carroll and
Lehr Memory Chapel with the Rev. Robert McLean officiating, and
burial was in New York Cemetery.
