Funeral For Mr. Wallace Held Tuesday Funeral services for James Lewis Wallace, who died Monday afternoon at 2:20 o'clock at the home of a sister, Mrs. Allie Dodson (Dotson), in the Rock Hill Community in Van Zandt County, were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Malakoff Assembly of God Church. The services were conducted by the pastor, Rev. Harris, and were followed by burial in the Malakoff Cemetery. Pallbearers were Bob Allen, J.D. Hounsel, Nolan Cude, Bill Vinson, Earl Allen and Mr. Franks. The Humphrey Funeral Home of Malakoff and the Manning Funeral Home of Athens were in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Wallace, stock farmer for the Clear Creek Community and whose home was in Malakoff, had been ill several months. He was born on Oct. 22, 1911, in the Clear Creek Community, and was the son of the late Jeff Wallace. Surviving are his wife; one daughter, Louise Wallace; one son, J.L. Wallace, all of Malakoff; his mother, Mrs. Martha Wallace of Clear Creek; two brothers, Jack Wallace of Malakoff and John Wallace of Algoa, and three sisters, Mrs. Dodson (Allie Dotson), Rock Hill, Mrs. Ophelia Carson of Payne Springs, and Mrs. Nora Lane of Dawson.
