Funeral services for Martelia Franks, 67, of 209 Williams St., are set for 2 p.m. Thursday at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. A. C. Toney officiating.
Burial will be in Barker Cemetery under direction of Geo. W. Tucker & Son Funeral Home.

Mrs. Franks died early Monday morning in the local hospital following a lengthy illness.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Henderson County. She joined the Lee Spring Baptist Church at an early age.
She attended Mt. Calvary Baptist Church.

Survivors include seven daughters, Dusilla Mallart, Elizabeth Johnson, Rhinehart and Delorse Robinson, all of Athens, and Jane Taylor of Plano;
four brothers, Elisha Foggle of Athens, Devotie Foggle of Fort Worth, William Foggle of Dallas and Thomas Foggle of San Pedro, Calif.;
four sisters, Mrs. Evie Wilson of Athens, and Mrs. Tina Bolton, Mrs. Ruby Brown and Mrs. Dorothy Clark, all of Dallas; and 24 grandchildren.
Sons-in-law will serve as pallbearers.
