Infant Girl Smothered by Bed Covering

Wanda Joyce Shuemake, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Henry Shuemake, Dallas, died of suffocation in a bed at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ed
Racker here Thursday. The child apparently had wriggled under bedclothing and its death occured within thirty minutes after it had been placed in the bed.
Mr. and Mrs. Shuemake and the baby were visiting in the Racker home at the time.

Funeral services for the infant were held Thursday afternoon at the Miller Cemetery near Athens. The Shuemakes live on Third Street, Dallas
