City Law Relative to Chickens Running at Large
Art. 204, Sec. 1- That it shall be unlawful for any person owning or having in charge or keeping any chickens, pigeons or any kind of fowls to run at large, to enter or trespass upon the property of anyone except their own.
Sec. 3 reads - Any person violating this ordinance or any provision thereof shall be fined in any sum not less than $5.00 nor more than $200, for each offense.
Chicken owners please take notice and be governed accordingly. Garden and flower time is near at hand and I must insist on everyone who has chickens to arrange to keep them on their own premises. I don't care to prosecute anyone but this law must be enforced.
