Celeste, Texas, March 13, 1946--Follett's High School feminine cagers registered an impressive 37-to-6 triumph over the Lone Oak sextet here Wednesday night in the opening round of the Southwestern AAU girls' basketball tournament. The meet is being played at Celeste High gymnasium.

In the only two other contests scheduled Celeste's six trimmed the Yantis team, 11 to 9, and Savoy took the measure of Miller Gove, 23 to 13.

Celeste's high scorer was Margie Williams, forward, with six tallies. Yantis' top pointmaker was McDaniels, forward, with six credits.

In Thursday's games, Follett takes on Celeste at 7:00 PM and Grand Prairie faces Campbell an hour later. At 9:00 PM, Penelope meets Quinlan. One game is tabbed in the consolation bracket with Lone Oak meeting Yantis at 3:00 PM.
