Miss Cheryl Leigh Eaton, Bride of Herman White, Jr.

Saint Paul's Episcopal Church was the setting for the February 14, 1963, wedding of Miss Cheryl Leigh Eaton and Herman L. White, Jr.

The bride is the daughter of the Rev. and Mrs. J. Powell Eaton, 2502 Marshall Street, and the groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Herman L. White, Sr., 4015 Washington.

The Rev. Mr. Eaton officiated at the single ring ceremony at three o'clock Thursday afternoon. The bride, given in marriage by Joe R. Ramsey, wore a street-length dress of printed tie-silk with matching accessories. Her head piece was a white Spanish lace mantilla and her flowers were Frenched carnations and fleur de' Amour fashioned into a nosegay.

Alter flowers were large bouquets of white chrysanthemums. Preceding the ceremony, Mrs. Clare Perkins Mangum, organist, played "Liebestraume" by Liszt and for the processional and recessional, she played "O Perfect Love" by Barnaby and Mendelssohn's "Wedding March."

Reception

A reception in the home of the bride's parents followed the wedding. The refreshment table was laid in a hand-crocheted cloth, which was made by a great-grandmother of the bride. Table appointments were in silver and crystal and the flora arrangement was of white mums. The white wedding cake, topped with miniature bride and groom, was served by Mrs. Joe L. Ramsey and presiding at the punch bowl was Mrs. Harry Herlocker.

Both Mr. and Mrs. White are former students at East Texas State College, Commerce. The bride is a graduate of Greenville High School and Mr. White was graduated from Celeste High School. They will reside in Greenville.

Mr. and Mrs. White, Sr., were host and hostess for a rehearsal dinner Wednesday evening at their home.
