Fall Festival
Senior Sherry Warren, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Freeman (and Andy Joe Warren) was crowned 1983 - 1984 Fall Festival Queen last Monday after the Halloween Carnival in Celeste. She was escorted by Eric Russell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Russell. Sixth grader Sandra Sumrow, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Freddie (Carolyn) Sumrow, was escorted by Eric Evans, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph (Lou) Evans, Jr., as she was crowned Princess. Amy Hall, second grade daughter and Mr. and Mrs. Roy (Debbie Statzer), was crowned Lady-in-Waiting. She was escorted by Jess Lanier, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd (Paula) Lanier. Other candidates were juniors, Shelly Smith and Paul Harrell; sophomores, Dawn Osha and Victor Myers; freshmen, Kristi Spoonemore and Edward Harrison; eight graders, Traci White and Jared Godwin; seventh graders, Shannon Lloyd and Todd Phillips; fifth graders, Tara Lewis and Josh Long; fourth graders, Kimetha Lyday and Shane Breverly, third graders, Shayla Compton and Shane Giles; and first graders, Amber Steen and Rory Thacker.
