Deborah Lynn Johnson of Parker and Troy Michael Loveday of Plano were married on August 24, 1985, at the First Christian Church in Plano. B. Ernest O' Donnell of Richardson officiated at the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.* J. E. Johnson, Jr., of Parker and the granddaughter of Dora Hunter and the late Mark Hunter of Celeste. The groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. James Loveday of Plano.
The bride was attended by maid of honor Beverly Nicholson of Parker and Tonya Loveday, sister of the groom of Plano. The groom's brother, Bryan Loveday of Plano, was the best man, and Terry Johnson of Parker, the bride's brother, was groomsman.
Dennis Black of Wylie and Danny Housewright of Plano were ushers. The brides' cousin, Lori Britain of Garland, and the bride's brother, Tim Johnson of Parker lit the candles for the ceremony.
Both bride and groom are 1982 graduates of Plano Senior High School. The couple plans to live in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, where the bride will attend John Brown University and while the groom continues his education at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.
