Have Pretty Church Wedding

Mr. Grady Jones and Miss Willie Mae McKinney United in Marriage

Kavanaugh church was the setting for a pretty wedding on Wednesday. The church was beautifully decorated with flowers....and was very attractive.

Promptly at the appointed hour of 2 o'clock, the bridal couple, Mr. Grady Jones and Miss Willie Mae McKinney, entered the church to the familiar strains of the Mendelsohn wedding march, played by Miss Velma Summers, and were accompanied by Miss Altha McKinney, sister of the bride, and Mr. Jones, brother of the groom, and were met at the altar by Rev. F.L. Egger, pastor of the church, who united them in marriage using the beautiful and impressive ring ceremony of the Methodist church.

There were only the immediate relatives of the couple and a few intimate friends present.

After the ceremony the happy couple left on the train for Fort Worth and other Texas points, and on their return from the bridal trip they will make their home at Van Alstyne.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G.T. McKinney and was reared in the city to a lovely young womanhood. She was educated in the schools of the city, and is an accomplished and very popular young lady who has a host of friends and admirers on account of her amiable and pleasing disposition.

The groom is a young business man of Van Alstyne where he is esteemed by all who know him. The young couplle start in their married life with the best prospects for a happy married life and for this they have the good wishes of all their many friends.
