We Lose Six Hundred
Superintendent J. A. Thomas completed the school rolls for Hunt County this week, which shows a total of 11,805 children of scholastic age in Hunt County. Last year's rolls showed a total of 12,405; so, we have lost six hundred with the western boom. (July 5, 1907, The Greenville Messenger)
