Five Generations--A Hunt County family representing five generations are left to right, Mrs. Mattie Burks Thorp of Farmersville, formerly of Celeste, and Eddie Thorp, her son, of Quinlan. Standing, left to right, Pricilla Emling, daughter of Mrs. Remediz, and Mrs. Frances Remediz. Mrs. Thorp is holding her great-granddaughter, Donna Emling. Mrs. Thorp was born in Winnsboro in 1877 and moved to Celeste at the age of ten. She was married to L. G. Thorp in 1896. (Picture)
