McCraw Family Meet for Reunion
Descendants of the late Mr. and Mrs. L. L. McCraw gathered at the City Park recently for the annual reunion.
The family meets every fourth Sunday in August for a day of fellowship and reminiscing.
Attending were the six remaining children of the pioneer couple. They are M. D. McCraw, Mrs. C. R. Tuner of Farmersville, Mrs. Arthur Lynch of Ardmore, Oklahoma, M. A. McCraw of Plainview, Mrs. Joe Perkins of Celeste, and B. M. McCraw of Greenville. Their sister, Mrs. A. M. Greer, died three years ago.
Others present included Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Nichols, Bernice Nichols and Earlene Nichols of Fort Worth; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Harrison, Peggy Harrison, Kenneth Harrison, Carolyn Harrison, Mrs. Mozelle Bufford, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Green, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Wilhite, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Jones, Greg Jones, of Dallas; Willie Pickerell of Shreveport, Louisiana; Mr. and Mrs. Melvin McCraw of Plainview; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Struve, Robert Struve, and Francine Struve of Olton; Mr. and Mrs. Percy Lynch, Charles Lynch, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Givens, Dale Givens, and Glenda Givens of Ardmore, Oklahoma; Mr. and Mrs. Buck Perkins, Mac Perkins, Mrs. M. C. McCraw, Mrs. C. R. Turner, Mr. and Mrs. Jason Prater, Kirk Prater; John McCraw, Johnnie McCraw, Betsy McCraw, Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey Greer, all of Farmersville; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Turner, Bob Turner, Sherman.
