Pioneer Lady Died Friday
Grandma, wife of W.A. (Uncle Billie) Adams, died last Friday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jim White, about a mile this side of Lone Oak. She was 76 years, 6 months and one day old.
Grandma Adams had been married something more than 57 years. She had been a life-long Christian, having cast her lot with the Baptist church in early life and was held in the highest esteem by all.
Funeral services were conducted at the Lynch cemetery Friday afternoon by Rev. Thos. Dement, eight of her grandsons acting as pall bearers.
She is survived by her husband, aged 78 years, one daughter, Mrs. Jim White, and other relatives.
