Oscar “O.B.” Adams, 82, died July 11, 2008, in Jocotapec, Mexico. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Peters Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Memoryland Memorial Park.Visitation is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.The son of Oscar and Fannie Dear Adams, he was born Jan. 9, 1926, in Abilene. Surviving are two daughters, Kay and Gary Bradford of Greenville and Patricia and Rob Miller of Jocotapec, Mexico; one granddaughter, Kimberly Bradford of Greenville; a sister, Daisy Orrek; and four brothers, Richard, James, John and Morris Adams.He was preceded in death by his wife; Wanda Adams in March 2008; his parents; one brother, Kenneth Adams; and two sisters, Mary Montgomery and Sidney Leake.Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice or to the Authentic Life Fellowship Church in Greenville.The online guest book may be signed at www.petersfh.com
