Funeral Today
Funeral services for Alexander Stover, who died Saturday morning at his home east of Greenville, will be held at 2 o'clock this afternoon at the Shady Grove Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Fred Moore. Burial will be in the Shady Grove cemetery.
The body will lie in state at the James-Peters Funeral home until 1:30 o'clock this afternoon.
Pallbearers will be: Jess Moore, Sr., Jess Moore, Jr., R.L. Patterson, Elmer Dunbar, J.P. Goer and Earl Stewart.
Mr. Stover was born in Tennessee. He is survived by three sons, Don Stover and Samuel Stover of Greenville; Bob Stover, Ladonia, and one daughter, Mrs. Sam Isham, Greenville, and 17 grandchildren. His wife preceeded him in death several years ago.
