Alice McDonald
Mrs. Alice McDonald, 64, died at the family home in the Lynch community, south of Lone Oak, last Thursday.
Mrs. McDonald, a devout Christian woman and member of the Christian Church, lived in that community for nearly forty years and helped to rear a family of children who are making good citizens and contributing to the betterment of the community in which she lived.
She is survived by her husband and the following children: Mrs. Maud James and Charlie McDonald, Lone Oak; Mrs. Sadie Gilleland, Mrs. Ruby L. Street, Mrs. Nora Dickerson, and Ernest McDonald, Dallas; Mrs. Maggie Hopewell and Aval McDonald of California; Robert McDonald, Point, and Mrs. Allen Woodruff, Greenville.
Funeral was conducted by the Rev. S. S. Frazer and burial was made in the Lone Star Cemetery.
