Allen Wayne Ewing
Celeste, Texas--Funeral services were held at the Methodist Church here for Allen Wayne Ewing, 67, garage operator in Celeste. Ewing had long been prominent in business, church, and community activities here. Born in Tennessee, Ewing had lived in Celeste since 1904. He was a member of the Methodist Church here and of the board of stewards as well as the Masonic and Odd Fellow lodges. Ewing is survived by his wife, the former Willie Hagan; a son, Ira Dale Ewing of Dallas; a brother C. S. Ewing of Dallas; three sisters, Mrs. Beulah McGuire of Dallas; Mrs. S. D.
