Alma Jean Sparks Bickham
Mrs. Alma Jean Sparks Bickham, 72, of Greenville, passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 1980, at a Greenville hospital.
Funeral arrangements were made by Coker-Mathews-Peters Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Bob Layman officiated. Burial was in Forest Park Cemetery.
The daughter of Joe Sparks and Ida McDonald Sparks, she was born in Celeste on April 11, 1908. She was married to David C. Bickham on May 10, 1949, in Lovington, New Mexico. She was a member of Celeste Baptist Church.
Survivors are her husband; a son Joe David Bickham of Atlanta, Texas; a sister, Mrs. O. C. Christopherson of Shreveport, Louisiana; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Homer Robinson, Albert Granberry, Ralph Bickham, Bubba Treadway, George Shields, and Bert McCraw.
Preceding her in death were her parents and a brother, Felton Olmis Sparks in March 24, 1980.
