Andrew L. Sparks
Funeral services were to be held at 4:00 PM, Tuesday, July 21, 1942, at the Dulaney Christian Church for Andrew L. Sparks, 91, who died Monday, July 20, 1942, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. G. B. Pearce in the Dulaney community. The Rev. Lewis Smith of Dulaney was to conduct the services.
Pallbearers were named as Dave Dennis, Elmer Harrison, L. Greer, Bill Patterson, W. B. Townsend, and Glen Patterson.
Mr. Sparks, a native of Alabama, was born in 1850 and came to Texas in 1871. He had lived in Hunt County for thirty years and for the past five yeas had made his home with Mr. and Mrs. Pearce. Well known throughout this section, he had many friends who will regret to learn of his passing.
