Mrs. Annie McCasland Dunlap Died Last Friday Night

Mrs. Dunlap, wife of W. A. Dunlap, the miller and
blacksmith, died at the family home on South Wesley Street last Friday
night following a long period of ill health.
Mrs. Dunlap, former Miss Annie McCasland and a native
of Giles County, Tennessee, was sixty-seven years old and had lived in
Texas for forty-nine of those years.
Her father's family lived at Lane, west of Celeste,
when she was married to W. A. Dunlap, in 1890 and for the past thirty years
had lived in Greenville.
She was a devout Christian woman and was loved by
those with whom she came in contact.
She is survived by her husband and six children
as follows: Walter D. Dunlap, Amos L. Dunlap, Mrs. Mary Jane Shofner,
and Mrs. Alma Terry of Greenville; and James Albert Dunlap of Los Angeles,
California.
Eleven grandchildren also survive.
