Aretha Lucille Williams
Aretha Lucille Williams, 79, of Greenville died Friday at her home. Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at Coker-Matthews Chapel with Rev. Joe Knight officiating. Burial will be in Memoryland Memorial Park. She was born in Greenville on October 15, 1917 to C.B. and Mary V. Hewett Nalls. She married Glynn Williams on January 13, 1940 in Hunt Co. She was a retired seamstress with Henson-Kickemick and a Baptist. Survivors are a daughter and son-in-law, Eve and Rod Hess of Phoenix, Arizona and grandsons Garrett and Isaac Hess of Phoenix. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1981, three sisters, and a brother. Pallbearers will be Jason Hamilton, Sonny Williams, Verdane Nalls, Farrell Nalls, Rod Hess, and Derwood Nalls.
