Audie Lee Couch, 76, of Greenville died Saturday, Sept. 9, 2006, at his residence. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2006, at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Morris Beene officiating. Burial is in Simmons Cemetery. Mr. Couch was born April 5, 1930, in Red Oak, Okla.; the son of Aud and Winnie Harless Couch. He married Doris Lindsey on Sept. 14, 1954, in Hunt County. Mr. Couch was a retired maintenance worker at E-Systems. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and a member of Highland Terrace Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Doris Couch of Greenville; sons, Steve Couch of Emory and Tim Couch of Greenville; daughters, Kathy Lee, Terri Calderilla and Jan Couch, all of Greenville; half-brothers, Coy Couch and Eugene Couch, both of Breckenridge; sisters, Ann Vaughn of Royse City, Gene Toole of Dixon, Mo. and Dorothy Jo Couch of Oklahoma; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Troyce Couch, Dannie Couch, Ricky Couch, Royce Couch and Maxie Couch. Pallbearers are Jeremy Couch, Mark Couch, Jessie McArter, Joseph Calderilla, Joe Calderilla and Jimmy Baker. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
