Bessie Cole
Greenville Herald-Banner – June 9, 1997 -- Bessie Faye Cole of Dallas died Tuesday at a Dallas hospital. Graveside services will be at Sullivan Cemetery at 4 p.m. Sunday with Rev. Jim Slocumb officiating.
She was born in Commerce on March 9, 1929 to William Hatchett and Evelyn McNeely. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
She is survived by two sons, Tony Potter of Ely, Nev. and James Potter of Las Vegas, Nev.; a daughter, Patricia Napier of Las Vegas, Nev.; three sisters, Dorothy Slocumb of Jacksonville, Margie Miller of Dallas and Leta Ramirez of Sacramento, Calif.; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were two sisters and a brother.
Pallbears will be Tommy Miller Sr., Tommy Miller, Richard Reyes, Robert Hodge, Joseph Perez and Nick Perez.
Peters Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
