Beth Fargo Aven, 91, of Celeste, passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 1982, at a Greenville nursing home.
Funeral service was held Saturday, February 27, 1982, at Taylor Funeral Home Chapel with Connie Hollis officiating. Burial was at Celeste Cemetery.
Born on May 5, 1890, in Texas, she was the daughter of H. W. Fargo and Ann Morrow Fargo. She was married to Gaston Aven on March 31, 1908, in Sherman. He preceded her in death in ___*. She was a housewife and a member of the Celeste Church of Christ.
Surviving are her sisters, Earlie Olene of Santa Anna, California and Beulah Waddell of Gunter; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Johnnie Lyon, Gilford Lyday, Haskell LaFavers, Jack Hutcheson, Solon Milton, and Larry Milton.
