WOLFE CITY — Betty Lou Greenwood, 70, of Wolfe City died Jan. 31, 2007, at Mansfield Nursing Center in Mansfield following a four-year illness. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. today at the Mount Carmel Cemetery Chapel followed by burial in Mount Carmel Cemetery. Visitation is from 1 to 2 p.m. today at the Mount Carmel Cemetery Chapel.
Daughter of George B. and Mildred Hughes Van Hoozer, she was born Dec. 10, 1936, in Ben Wheeler. On April 14, 1981, she was married to Troy W. Greenwood in Plano. Mrs. Greenwood was a homemaker. She was a member of Turkey Creek Church of Christ in Wolfe City.
Surviving are her husband; children Charly McBroom, Charlene Gunn, Darlene Gunn, Lendon Thomas Jr., Robert Greenwood, Randy Greenwood, Dwayne Greenwood, Monty Greenwood and Sherry Snider; 22 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; sisters Judy Connor, Joyce Banks and Iwana Broderick; and brothers David Joe Van Hoozer, James Van Hoozer, Robert Van Hoozer and Roy Lee Van Hoozer.
