QUINLAN — Billy Nixon Miles, 79, of Greenville died Dec. 2, 2006, in Baylor Medical Center at Dallas. A funeral service is scheduled at 1 p.m. today at Quinlan Funeral Home chapel with Dr. Leslie Mills officiating.
Billy was born June 11, 1927, in Cash, the son of Laten Monroe and Ila Mae Brooks Miles. Billy married Ruby Oswalt at Emory on Sept. 14, 1945. He was a truck driver for Frank Wolfe Moving Company. He was a member of North Baptist Church of Greenville.
Billy is survived by three daughters, Brenda Gohn of Terrell, Jessie Vanginault and husband Freddy of Mount Pleasant, and Kathy Wilson of Mount Pleasant; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in his death by his wife; a grandson, Joshua Lee Cantu; his parents, four brothers, and two sisters.
Pallbearers are Allen Gohn, Armando Marez, Bradley Marez, Armando Moren Jr., Steven Vanginault, and Ryan Harvey. Honorary pallbearer is Ford Molen.
