“Blane” Margaret Elaine Patterson, 81, of Commerce died March 30, 2006, in Richardson. A graveside service was at 11 a.m. Saturday at Rosemound Cemetery with Rev. Winston Curtis officiating. Daughter of Marvin Amberst and Ora Gray Thomas, she was born Feb. 2, 1925, in Commerce. Survivors include a son, Leonard Patterson and wife Debbie of Dallas; one daughter, Tamela “Tammy” Mirau and husband Mike of Richardson; four grandchildren, Courtney Stem and husband Marc of Dallas, Luke Patterson and wife Julie of Fort Hood, Staci Mirau of Plano and Rebekah Patterson of Plano; two great-grandchildren, Mason Stem and Brandon Stem, both of Dallas; two sisters, Willie Mae Fooshee of Austin and Jean Wright of Moultrie, Ga.; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Judy Patterson and Vicki Patterson; four brothers and three sisters. Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home of Commerce was in charge of arrangements.
