Hattie Johnson Blankenship
Hattie Johnson Blankenship, 70, died at her home in Celeste, Hunt County, Texas on October 27, 1953. Married and housewife, she was born on January 30, 1883, in Tennessee. Her parents were J. W. Johnson and Clemmie Cox Johnson. Mrs. Ruby Warren was the informant. Cancer of the ovary and liver for eight months directly led to her death. She had undergone an operation on February 6, 1953 for papillary carcinoma of the left ovary. Dr. J. D. Becton was her doctor. Burial was made on October 28, 1953 at Mount Carmel Cemetery near Celeste, Hunt County, Texas. James-Coker-Peters Funeral Home made the arrangements.
