Bobbye Lane McGee Partridge
Leonard--Graveside services for Mrs. Bobbye Lane McGee Partridge, 77, of the Lane community are at 11:00 AM, Thursday, September 23, 2004, at the Lane Cemetery with Charles Wrenn officiating.
Mrs. Partridge died Saturday, September 18, 2004, at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville.
The daughter of Iris Herbert McGee, Sr., and Jaunita Sears McGee, she was born on September 24, 1926, in Lane. On October 26, 1963, she was married to A. G. Partridge in Dallas.
Mrs. Partridge was a 1943 CHS graduate, a member of the First United Methodist Church in Celeste, and was a secretary and bookkeeper.
She is survived by her husband of the Lane community; two daughters, Janice Venable and Candy Hillock, both of Plano; brothers, J. H. McGee and I. H. McGee, both of Leonard; and one grandchild, Gage Venable of Frisco.
Her parents and a sister, Wanda Waddle, preceded her in death.
Visitation is from 6:00 to 7:30 PM Wednesday, September 22nd, at Taylor Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements. (September 21, 2004, The Greenville Herald Banner)
