Infant Son Byers
The infant son of Lt. and Mrs. Andy Byers of Fort Bliss died in an El Paso, Texas hospital on Monday, June 14, 1954. Funeral services were conducted in El Paso on Tuesday afternoon, June 15, 1954. The baby was nine months old on June 14, 1954 (born December 14, 1953).
Survivors are the parents and the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Byers of Celeste.
Submitter's note: I have the baby's name, Bates Pierre Byers. I have his birth date to be May 17, 1954, born in El Paso, TX, William Beaumont Army Hospital. He is buried at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, Section PB, Site 1K.
