Callie Mae Price, 85, of Greenville died Friday, Feb. 16, 2007, at Harrison House in Greenville. Funeral services are at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 19, 2007, at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home chapel, 5100 Interstate 30, with Rev. Bob Layman and Rev. Royse Litchfield officiating. Burial is in Memoryland Memorial Park.
Mrs. Price was born Oct. 28, 1921, in New Brockton, Ala.; the daughter of Bascom Charles and Docia Dean Helms Walls. She was married to Toxie Price on April 29, 1943, in Laurel Hill, Fla.
Mrs. Price was a homemaker and a member of Highland Terrace Baptist Church.
The family would like to thank The Harrison House, Vista Care Hospice, and Dr. Peter Gray and staff for all their support and kindness.
Surviving are daughters and sons-in-law, Janice and John Davis of Greenville and Dianne and Ray Martin of Abilene; grandchildren, Stacy Anthony and husband Greg of Atlanta, Texas, Michael Martin of Houston, Allison Davis and Amy Davis, both of Greenville, Tammy and Donnie Riggan of Merkel, and Randy and Stacia Martin of Abilene; great-grandchildren, Luke Anthony, Aubrey Anthony, Hunter Martin, Hailey Martin, Sunny Riggan, Nathan Riggan and Matthew Riggan; and sisters, Jewell Bell of Cleveland, Tenn. and Jackie Wise of Garden City, Mich.
She was preceded in death by her husband on Feb. 14, 2004; parents; sisters, Verna Bowden and Mary Hudnell; and brothers, Charlie Walls and Bob Walls.
Visitation is from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
