Carolyn Rasberry was born in Golden on Nov. 18, 1937, daughter of Jinks and Ethel Callahan. On Jan. 4, 1957, she was married to Berece D. Rasberry in Dallas. Mrs. Rasberry was a housewife and a member of Harvest Bible Church in Cash.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Chad and Vickie Smith of Cash; a son, Larry D. Rasberry of Pittsburg, Texas; six grandchildren, Shannon Seabolt and husband Keith, Trey Rich and wife Karli, Ashley Glover, Ryan Glover, Alyssa Rasberry, and Bailey Rasberry; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Mozelle Violet of Flint, Texas; two brothers, Dayton Callahan of Mesquite and Billy Don Callahan of Wills Point; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years; a sister, Madline Voyles; and her parents.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Voyles, Ricky Callahan, Richard Rasberry, Ronnie Violet, Jason Westmoreland and TJ. Stringer. John Stringer and Bill Rickman will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Funeral services are at 2 p.m. today at Harvest Bible Church on Highway 34. Burial follows at Simmons Cemetery.
Lynch Funeral Service of Greenville is in charge of arrangements.
