C.B. Nalls
Funeral services for C.B. Nalls, 80, were Wednesday at Coker-Matthews-Peters Funeral Home with Rev.John Cope and Rev. David Kuykenall officiating. Burial was in Memoryland Memorial Park. Mr. Nalls died at Citizens General Hospital Tuesday morning. A native of Weiland, he was born May 1, 1894, the son of John H. and Ida S. Hart Nalls. He married Mary V. Hewett on September 13, 1916 in Hunt Co, and was a member of the Central Christian Church. Survivors are his wife of Greenville, a son W.O. Nalls of Greenville, two daughters, Mrs. Retha Williams and Mrs. Doris Stuart of Greenville, three brothers, Walter Nalls, Troy Nalls and Bradford Nalls, all of Greenville; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two daughters and a sister. Pallbearers will be nephews J.E. Nalls, Louie Nalls, Verdane Nalls, Derwood Nalls, Farrell Nalls, and W.R. Wilson.
