WOLFE CITY — Graveside services for Charles Wayne Swinson will be at 11 a.m. today in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, with Dr. Kevin Mitchell officiating.
Mr. Swinson died Dec. 14, in Presbyterian Hospital of Commerce. He was born July 14, 1914, in Wolfe City to Charles Memory Swinson and Rosa Anna Reeves Swinson. He married Irene Johnson in Commerce. He was a retired farmer and rancher, and he was a member of Durham Baptist Church in Fairlie.
Survivors include one son, Otis “Junior” Eudy of Commerce; one sister, Ester Savage of Wolfe City; two brothers, Jack Swinson of Wolfe City and Louis Swinson of Fairlie.
He was preceded in death by his wife, one daughter, his parents and one sister.
Arrangements are under the direction of R.W. Owens & Son Funeral Home, Wolfe City.
