CADDO MILLS — Charlotte Horne Talley, 63, of Waco, formerly of Caddo Mills, died April 30, 2007. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Rentfrow Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Eddie Singleton officiating. Burial is in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
The daughter of Earl and Mary Parker Horn, she was born Feb. 2, 1943, in Greenville. She worked for the Agriculture Extension Service as a home economist for 30 years in Palo Pinto, Limestone, Fannin and McLennan Counties.
She received the Distinguished Service and Superior Service Awards, and following retirement she was granted the Emeritus Award by the Board of Regents of A&M University.
Survivors are her mother of Waco; a daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia and Miguel Perez of Waco; a granddaughter, Brittany Smith of Houston; eight cousins and several nieces and nephews.
Her father and a brother preceded her in death.
