Clara De Bramlett, 90, of Crosby died Saturday, May 13, 2006, at the San Jacinto Rehab Unit in Baytown. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 16, 2006, at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Kenneth Jones officiating. Burial is in Memoryland Memorial Park. Mrs. Bramlett was born Feb. 14, 1916, in Clinton; the daughter of Dolphus and Grady Smith Stephenson. She was married to Hugh Derrell Bramlett on July 29, 1933, in Greenville.
Mrs. Bramiett was employed by Hensons, LTV and Mary of Puddin Hill. She was a member of Lamar Baptist church.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Andy and Lisa Bramlett of Crosby; sister, Helen Bethea of Kaufman; granddhildren, Matt Bramlett and Kayde Bramlett, both of Crosby; several cousins, nieces and nephews; and the six V’s. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers and one sister. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
