Claude Earl Burnett Wade
Claude Earl Burnett Wade, 88, of Celeste died the night of February 26, 2007, at Greencrest Manor. Graveside services are at McWright Cemetery under the direction of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home. Ed Holland will officiate.
James Daugherty, Raymond Daugherty, Travis Daugherty, Doug Sullivan, Trevor Daugherty and Sean Linton are
pallbearers.
Born February 26, 1919, in Greenville, she was the daughter of James Burnett and Maud Maroney Burnett. She was a 1938 Celeste High School graduate. On February 5, 1939, she was married to Raymond Wade. Mrs. Wade was a homemaker, and she was a Baptist.
Surviving are a daughter, Carolyn Daugherty of Celeste; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband on May 4, 1993; her parents; and brothers Weldon Burnett, N.A.
Burnett and Harmon Burnett.
