WOLFE CITY — Clyde Dale Morgan, 74, of Wolfe City died Jan. 25, 2007, at his home. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Sunday at R.W. Owens & Son Funeral Home chapel with Brother Bill Reisor officiating. Burial is in Mount Carmel Cemetery.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
The son of Elijah William and Annie Bell Farris Morgan, he was born Feb. 21, 1932, in the Webb Hill Community near Wolfe City. On Aug. 17, 1957, he married Anita Joy Woodard in Quinlan.
Mr. Morgan retired as a machinist from E-Systems. He was a member of Honey Creek Baptist Church in Wolfe City.
Survivors are three daughters, Rebecca Stewart of Tyler, Kelly Martin of Wolfe City and Laura Mobley of Waxahachie; six grandchildren; two sisters, Anetta Stegman of Quinlan and Doris Carroll of Canton; a brother, Henry Morgan of Honey Grove; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Walter Mobley, Chance Martin, Case Martin, Coy Martin, Jerry Lynn Stewart, Jeff Martin and Bobby Morgan.
