Clyde R. (C.R. “Butch”) Lynch, 97, of Idabel, Okla., died Sept. 28, 2006, at Memorial Heights Nursing Home in Idabel. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Sunday at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home chapel in Greenville with Frank Morgan officiating. Burial is at Wieland Cemetery. The son of George Washington and Scena Leona Orear Lynch, he was born March 19, 1909, in Emory. On July 16, 1934, he married Olene Camp in Hunt County. He was a farmer and a Baptist. Surviving are two sisters, Lucy Stevens of Point and Bonnie Samples of Frankston, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; a brother, Elbert Lynch; and sisters Lela Glass, Myrtie Collard and Bertha Price. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
